BTEI COURSES

 Participants that successfully complete a QQI Level 5 Full Award may apply to progress to third level education.

These courses are free if you are in receipt of a social welfare payment, hold a medical card or did not complete the leaving certificate.

Entry Requirements: Applicants should have a standard of knowledge, skills and competence equivalent to NFQ level 4. Applicants must demonstrate a keen interest in the subject as well as some knowledge and competencies relevant to the course and the ability to work on own initiative. Interviews will be held for all full award courses.

Full awards will be offered in the following:

Professional Cookery  

Health Care Support (Including Nursing Studies module)

Early Childhood Care and Education                          

Youth Work

Minor Awards will be offered in the following:

NUTRITION & HEALTHY OPTIONS 3N0887 – Commencing 26th September  2018.

This course will make you aware of your daily nutrition needs and critically look at and evaluate your current eating habits. You will learn how to make tasty, interesting and healthy meals.

The course will run on Wednesday evenings 7pm to 10pm and is free to Social Welfare recipients or didn’t complete a leaving cert, or is €75.00 for others.
